For this personal investigation unit, I am going to be talking about the history and evolution of the album cover. I’ll be discussing where the album cover came from, techniques used, comparing then and now and why it was needed. The process of an album cover is often a collaborative project between the musician and the artist to capture the essence and aesthetic of an album. I want to explore its journey through what’s changed, influences, music genres and it's contributors.
